Echoes of Origins

Centre de la biodiversité du Québec

Three persons walking in a forest trail are exploring around and are facing the sky while an iceberg seem to appear

Echoes of origins is an exciting interactive forest trail presented by the Quebec Biodiversity Centre. It addresses environmental issues using a fun, educational and artistic approach, bringing together several multimedia works. The goal of this immersive night walk is to raise the visitor’s awareness to the Champlain Sea’s biodiversity heritage in the St. Lawrence Valley. With this experience, we wish to empower visitors to become a positive vector for change in the current global environmental issues. A very special character guides and entertain the visitors throughout the course. Each visitor is provided with a unique and unusual technological tool that interacts in many ways with multimedia installations along the trail as well as with those of the other participants. Echoes of origins takes place on a 1.8 km forest trail and can be completed in approximately 1.5 hours.
