For a benefit evening under the theme “A family story”, we created, in collaboration with Leucan, a new strategy to raise awareness by producing a virtual reality experience. In order to tell a couple’s story, following their child’s cancer diagnosis, virtual reality headsets were provided to guests who could see the parents’ point of view, near the children and the medical personnel. The five-minute immersive film was conceptualized with the objective of making the emotions experienced by the families of children who are touched by illness more palpable. Thus, spectators were taken through each step of the illness, starting with the diagnosis.
